“Global minds has allowed me to hear stories from immigrants and refugees first hand, stories I wish everyone could hear. Global minds has changed me because when I think of Syria and Iraq I don’t just think of war torn countries, but I think of my friends I have here at Allderdice from these countries. Global minds has made the world feel smaller, showing me how similar we all are, how we all share the same wants and needs. This club has inspired me to be active in my community, knowing I can make a difference in my school and It has inspired me to speak up more and make sure everyone’s voice is heard”
